「どの瞬間の思いにおいても、本来の心（あるべき心）を離れない」
“In every moment of your thoughts, you will never leave your original mind (the mind that should be).”
特徴的なのは、頭上に複数の顔を持つ姿で、これは「十一面観音」を表していると考えられます。また、手に持っている瓶は「浄瓶（じょうびょう）」と呼ばれ、観音菩薩が持つ慈悲の水（甘露）を象徴しています。
右側には「念彼観音（ねんぴかんのん）」という言葉が書かれており、これは『観音経』に由来するもので、「観音菩薩を念じることによって救われる」という仏教信仰を表す重要な語句です。
この絵全体を通して、慈悲・救済・安心感を象徴する観音信仰の精神が、墨の静かな筆致とともに表現されています。
The distinctive feature is the multiple faces above the head, which is thought to represent the “eleven-faced Kannon”. The bottle in her hand is called “Joubi,” which symbolizes the water of mercy (nectar) possessed by Kannon Bosatsu.
On the right side is written the phrase “Nenpikannon,” which comes from the “Kannon Sutra” and is an important phrase that expresses the Buddhist belief that one can be saved by remembering Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva.
Throughout the painting, the spirit of the Kannon faith, which symbolizes compassion, salvation, and peace of mind, is expressed with quiet strokes of ink.
